Job summary

Stirling Dynamics is seeking a Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager to join the Quality team and strengthen supplier relationships while ensuring design is optimised for manufacture. You will manage non-conformances, concessions and supplier audits in a regulated aerospace environment.

Based in the UK, you will work with Procurement, Quality and Engineering on DFMEA/PPAP and production release processes to maintain high quality across active and passive controls.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable supply chain manufacturing experience within regulated industry sectors.
• Engineering qualification (HND or higher) in a relevant discipline.
• Understanding of BSEN9100/AS9100, AS9145 and their application.
• Experience in planning and controlling critical parts manufacturing processes.
• Trained auditor (lead auditor preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supplier assessment and audits (remote or on-site) to ensure credentials and capability.
• Provide DFMA guidance and participate in design reviews with internal teams.
• Manage PPAP processes and ensure PFMEA/DFMEA compliance.
• Oversee NCs and concessions with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support bids/tenders with supply chain requirements and improvements.
• Drive improvements within the quality management system for supply chain.
