Job summary

GE Aerospace Cheltenham invites applications for a Manufacturing Engineering Apprentice on a 4-year rotational programme. You will study a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship with Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET), combining college release with on-site placements to build practical skills in lean manufacturing and quality improvement.

You will rotate through manufacturing engineering departments, learn to manage projects, and develop problem-solving capabilities

Qualifications

• Minimum grades: 4x GCSEs incl Maths & English (C/4) or better.
• 3x A-Levels, with Maths or Engineering at C or above.
• Level 3 qualification (BTEC, T-Level or equivalent) in Engineering/Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Join Cheltenham site on a 4-year rotational scheme to build end-to-end Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Study Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship with GET (HNC/D) at Gloucestershire Engineering Training.
• Complete modules in project management, quality improvement, sustainability, Lean manufacturing.
