Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprentice for our Cheltenham campus. The 3.5‑year rotation scheme combines on‑the‑job training with Level 4/5 HNC/HND study, aligned to EngTech.

You will gain hands‑on experience across facilities, activities, and test equipment, developing both technical and professional skills within a global aerospace environment. You will receive support from mentors, attend college releases, and participate in enrichment activities, with

Qualifications

• 4 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths, English at grades C/5 or above
• Level 3 qualification (BTEC, T-Level or equivalent) in Engineering / Manufacturing, OR
• 3 A-Levels (or equivalent), including Maths or Engineering, at grades C or above

Responsibilities

• Complete a 3.5-year apprenticeship with on-site placements and college release.
• Support fault finding and maintenance tasks on plant machinery and facilities during rotations.
• Engage with GET learning pathway, attend HNC/D modules, and work toward EPA portfolio.
