Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking an Inventory Coordinator at Heathrow Airport to ensure engineers have the right parts and materials, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery. You will handle receiving, shipping, cycle counts, and documentation, working in a busy aviation environment to maximise aircraft availability and support a high-quality inflight experience.

Candidates should have 1–3 years warehouse experience, knowledge of shipping procedures, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic maths skills and ability to follow established procedures.
• Computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of shipping software such as FedEx, DHL and UPS is preferred.
• Ability to work professionally with colleagues and other departments.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of electronic parts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and inspect materials against purchase orders, repair orders or invoices.
• Check incoming parts for damage, quality and conformity and maintain accurate receiving records.
• Process rejected and quarantined materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Process inventory transactions and research and reconcile inventory inaccuracies.
• Conduct monthly cycle counts, including reconciliation and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain shipping records and documentation.
• Package materials in accordance with ATA300 and/or customer requirements where applicable.
• Prepare and process internal and customer repairs, including packaging, labelling and processing.
• Arrange product collections and shipments, including FedEx and Westbay where required.
• Maintain and archive inventory transaction and incoming product records.
• Receive miscellaneous purchase orders for various departments.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
