Job summary

City Of Doncaster Council in Doncaster is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a portfolio of aviation, infrastructure and operational projects within a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, monitor progress and support decision-making, with opportunities to lead smaller projects and develop project management experience.

Knowledge of PRINCE2, APM or Agile would be advantageous, and the role offers a generous pension, leave and relocation

Qualifications

• Experience in a project coordination, project support or project controls role.
• Good organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of project governance and project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of aviation, infrastructure and operational projects, ensuring milestones are achieved.
• Lead and deliver small projects, planning, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
• Develop and maintain project plans, risk/issue registers and governance records.
• Monitor progress, budgets and resources, identifying risks and supporting corrective actions.
• Coordinate project boards, meetings and stakeholder engagement activities with reports and action logs.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Support improvement of project management processes and reporting across the portfolio.
