Job summary

AECOM Infrastructure and Environment UK Limited in the UK is seeking an Associate Director to lead aviation infrastructure initiatives. Based across multiple offices (Basingstoke, Croydon, Manchester, Birmingham or London), you will guide multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, resilient, and sustainable airport solutions.

You’ll develop staff, manage client relationships, pursue new opportunities, and ensure quality delivery from concept to handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Professional qualification: ICE or equivalent.
• Significant experience in design, planning and construction support within airport environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of multi-disciplinary airport projects.
• Assure technical delivery and design excellence across teams.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to align goals with sustainable solutions.
• Pursue new business opportunities in Aviation Infrastructure and prepare bids.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team of planners and engineers.
