Job summary

Swissport Manchester Airport is seeking a motivated Ground Service Equipment (GSE) technician to service, repair and maintain all types of GSE. You will perform preventive maintenance, record inspection findings in the fleet management system, and may join a standby rota (one week in four) with potential call-outs.

Applicants should have a time-served background (City & Guilds or equivalent), be prepared to work outdoors in all weather, and bring your own tools.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with GSE or HGV is preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and travel to other Swissport stations.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain Ground Service Equipment (GSE).
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections and upload findings to the fleet management system.
• Be available for standby rota (one week in four) with potential call-outs.
