Airport GSE & HGV Technician – Flexible Schedule

Zusammenfassung

Swissport is seeking motivated technicians to service, repair, and maintain Ground Service Equipment at Liverpool Airport. You will perform preventive maintenance, document findings in the fleet system, and may join a standby rota every four weeks with potential call-outs.

Ideal candidates have experience with HGV or GSE, City & Guilds, a minimum of 1 year post-apprentice, strong diagnostic skills, and a positive, proactive attitude. UK driving license is required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with HGV vehicles or Ground Service Equipment is preferred but not essential.
• Time served Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year post-apprentice experience.
• Good general mechanical, diagnostics and fault finding ability.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electric systems.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and perform routine maintenance.
• Enthusiastic, flexible team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Welding preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to travel for training or to assist other Swissport stations with GSE needs.
• Must be able to pass DBS security background checks

• Upload inspection findings and job details into fleet management system.
• May participate in standby rota (one week in four) including potential call-outs.
