Job summary

Swissport is seeking skilled technicians to service, repair and maintain Ground Service Equipment (GSE) at Manchester Airport. You will perform preventative maintenance and upload inspection data to the fleet system, with a one in four standby rota and potential call-outs.

Experience with HGVs or GSE is preferred, with City & Guilds or equivalent certification and own tools required. A full UK driving license and safety compliance are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year post-apprentice experience.
• Good mechanical, diagnostics and fault finding ability.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Must have own tools.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain Ground Service Equipment (GSE).
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on GSE.
• Upload inspection findings and job details into the fleet management system.
• Potential to participate in a standby rota (one week in four) including call-outs.
