Job summary

Swissport at Liverpool Airport is seeking highly motivated technicians to service, repair and maintain all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE). You will perform preventive maintenance and upload inspection findings into Swissport’s fleet management system, with a standby rota of one week in four including potential call-outs.

Ideal candidates have City & Guilds or equivalent, at least 1 year post-apprentice experience, and a strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skill set.

Qualifications

• Experience with GSE or HGV preferred but not required.
• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year post-apprentice experience.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostics and fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to travel for training or to assist other stations.
• Must pass DBS background checks.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain all types of GSE.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Upload inspection findings and job details into fleet management system.
• Participate in standby rota (one week in four) including potential call-outs.
