Job summary

Draken Europe is seeking an Approved Workshop Engineer - Engines to join our Engineering team. You will support maintenance, repair, inspection and testing of aircraft engines within a highly regulated aviation environment, reporting to the Engine Workshop Team Leader and contributing to safe, compliant, and efficient engine maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship completed, ideally in aviation.
• Formal mechanical engineering qualification (BTEC Level 3+ or higher).
• Minimum three years within aviation engineering or similar environment.
• Experience in engine, gas turbine, production, maintenance or workshop environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out engine maintenance per manufacturer and company procedures.
• Strip, clean, inspect, build and test aircraft engines.
• Investigate, diagnose and repair engine faults.
• Certify maintenance tasks within your authorised scope.
• Provide on-wing engine support at base locations and possibly detached sites.
• Maintain engine maintenance records and work packs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
