Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Dispatcher to support the Operations team at Manchester. You will coordinate staff and resources to meet service standards for airline customers, monitor turnarounds, and help ensure on-time performance across shifts.

As the first point of contact for customers and airport staff, you will manage communications, supervise dispatch activities, and contribute to delivering a world-class product while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous dispatch experience and knowledge of weight & balance.
• Ability to adapt to airline loading variations.
• Capable of working under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate staff and resources to meet service standards.
• Dispatch operations and ensure on-time performance for airlines.
• Maintain flight files and audit records.
• Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety and compliance in daily dispatch activities.
• Provide timely information to the Duty Manager.
