Job summary

Howden is expanding its Aviation data analytics capability. This role supports the Senior Data Analyst, Aviation and the wider Aviation team with data analysis, reporting and analytics, embedded with the central Data & Analytics function for hands-on training and backend access.

The role involves developing reporting suites and dashboards, working with brokers and stakeholders to translate problems into data questions, and applying AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows and insights.

Qualifications

• A degree in a numerate or analytical field.
• Strong attention to detail and logical thinking.
• Interest in how data can influence business decisions.
• Confidence explaining ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Keen to work with modern AI tooling and keep pace with a fast-moving landscape.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world problems into data and AI questions.
• Explore and prototype data ideas, shaping user stories and analytical approaches.
• Clean, analyse and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
• Spot patterns, trends and explain their practical implications.
• Produce reports and dashboards that support brokers and senior management.
• Support AI-enabled tools to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate reporting.
• Collaborate with data, technology and analytics teams across the group.
• Document work and follow data/AI standards.
