Job summary

John Menzies Aviation in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Service Agent to act as a front-line ambassador for our global aviation partners, delivering a friendly, efficient pre-flight experience and handling check-in, boarding passes and baggage processing.

You will work to high performance standards, follow airline and Menzies policies, and contribute to a safe, compliant, and welcoming lounge environment, including cash handling for ancillary revenue.

Qualifications

• A full 5 year work/unemployment/education history.
• Proof of Right To Work in the UK.
• Aptitude for working with a variety of information technology.
• Diligent attention to detail.
• Criminal Record Check and Airside Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service as per Menzies and Airline standards at every step of the journey.
• Check customers' travel documentation and identification for compliance.
• Check customers into airline systems and issue boarding passes and bag tags per policy.
• Support general lounge functions and address passenger queries or upgrades.
• Collect excess baggage and manage ancillary revenue through airline systems, following cash handling procedures.
