Job summary

Galliford Try Group is hiring a Design Engineer - Aviation based in Stansted. You will contribute to building services design across aviation projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with aviation standards.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will support site visits, develop technical specifications, review subcontractor information and help deliver buildable, value-engineered solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services design for aviation projects.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary design teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Support site visits, surveys and technical assessments with the Design Manager.
• Develop building services specifications and scopes of work after site inspections and client engagement.
• Coordinate with subcontractor design teams to refine and develop design solutions.
• Review subcontractor drawings, calculations and design information for quality and compliance.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation and design submissions for tenders and projects.
