Job summary

Caprice Holdings Ltd is seeking an AV Technician based on-site at our Camden Town venue to support a range of events, from talks to gala dinners, with hands-on control of audio and lighting and liaison with the events team.

You will maintain equipment to a high standard, work with Avolites consoles and Pioneer DJ gear, and help ensure every event has robust technical cover. Candidates should have hospitality/corporate AV experience and be highly organised team players.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in set up and operation of Lighting and AV equipment, corporate or hospitality.
• Knowledge of Avolites Lighting Consoles, Pioneer DJ kit.
• Highly organised with multitasking and teamwork.

Job description

As an AV Technician you will be working on a range of events of varying scale. You will be based on site and will assist with the day-to-day technical delivery and operation of different events such as talks, DJ set ups, product launches, charity events, gala dinners and small intimate live performances.

Responsibilities:

• Operation of Sound
• Operation of lights
• Assisting the events team on all AV needs they have
• Maintaining kit to a high standard
• Liaising with Venue GMs that all their AV needs are being met
• Insuring all events have adequate tech cover
• Reporting to the Group Technical Manager on all expenditure of kit and crew

Qualifications:

• Have strong experience in the set up and operation of Lighting and AV equipment, specifically within a corporate or hospitality environment.
• Are passionate about events and technology in equal measure and are keen to progress their career in event production.
• Have knowledge of Avolites Lighting Consoles, Pioneer DJ kit.
• Are highly organised with the ability to multitask and excellent team players.
