Job summary

Hutchison Technologies Ltd in the UK seeks an experienced Audio-Visual Project Manager to lead technically complex AV projects from pre-start to handover, coordinating internal teams, clients, and third-party suppliers.

You’ll manage scope, schedules, and budgets, ensure safety and quality, and travel as required across the UK. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to work on high-profile installations in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and pragmatic decision-making.
• Proven experience delivering AV projects (access control, IT infra, lighting advantageous).
• Project management experience within AV, ideally fit-out or construction-led environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with Technical Sales to understand project scope, drawings, specifications, and constraints.
• Manage customer communication and attend pre-start, progress, and handover meetings.
• Own installation programmes and coordinate resources to meet milestones.
• Coordinate project teams, providing direction for high-quality delivery.
• Arrange procurement and deliveries, manage variations, and overall project profitability.
• Track financial performance and maintain commercial control throughout the lifecycle.
• Produce, implement, and enforce RAMS and maintain health & safety standards on site.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers, client IT teams, and other contractors.
