Job summary

proAV, a leading global AV integrator, is seeking a Project Manager in the UK to manage client orders from contract to commissioning. You will design AV systems, liaise with clients and suppliers, and ensure projects stay within budget and meet high standards.

The role demands strong electronics and AV knowledge, excellent planning and communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of Electronics and AV Systems.
• Organised and flexible with the ability to approach different tasks during the day.
• Understanding of contracts and commercial processes.
• Ability to plan and organise projects and schedule work.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Competent to a high level of computer literacy.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to think laterally and find effective solutions.
• Good communication with executives and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects within budget and to client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal departments, clients and contractors.
• Ensure H&S files and safe systems of work are in place.
• Design systems to meet client needs using proven tech and new solutions.
• Understand the contractual requirements of projects.
• Ensure technical/drawing information is available for others.
• Physically set up system elements and prove concepts.
• Handle invoicing and variations to avoid financial risk.
• Source components from suppliers for best value.
• Interface AV systems with client buildings (hardware and software).
• Perform on-site commissioning and configuration of systems.
• Represent the company at senior level with professional conduct.
• Develop knowledge to become an expert in a project area.
