Job summary

SCC is seeking an AV Field Service Engineer to support clients in the North of England. The role involves visiting customer sites, diagnosing faults, and delivering reliable onsite AV/VC service under SLA commitments.

The position requires flexibility, overtime may be required, and security clearance is available. Hybrid working model is offered with a mix of office and home working, and UK driving is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing AV equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure alone or in a team.
• Willingness to work out of hours when required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Must have a UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Attend service calls and maintenance visits, some overseas and OOH.
• Identify and provide solutions to faults with equipment.
• Conduct meeting room checks ensuring all equipment functions correctly.
• Deliver a high-quality service experience to users and customers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Fault finding and resolution of AV/VC problems.
• Provide accurate site surveys for SLAs.
• Ensure tickets are updated with real-time information.
• Maintain PPE and safety equipment issued to them.
• Escalate issues to team manager where required.
• Provide dynamic risk assessments when required.
