Job summary

Bowdon Associates Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager to own a UK territory, build your pipeline and drive revenue across building services, industry, hospitality and public sector. You will combine face-to-face visits with product demonstrations.

A hunter with B2B sales experience, strong CRM skills and excellent communication will thrive here. Basic salary is £40,880 with an OTE of £53,200, plus 25 days holiday and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of growth in a competitive market.
• Territory experience with the ability to plan and execute field visits.
• Hunter mentality: confident, energetic and credible in front of customers.
• Strong CRM skills and data-driven territory planning.
• Hands-on demonstrations of cleaning equipment and moving equipment.
• Excellent communication and commercial awareness.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• Cleaning equipment knowledge or experience with professional floor care or automation (desirable).
• Based within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own leads through cold calling, research and planned area visits.
• Book and carry out site visits, surveys and product demonstrations.
• Build and develop long-term customer relationships and grow existing accounts.
• Manage and report on your pipeline accurately through the company CRM.
• Take full ownership of revenue performance across your territory.
• Demonstrate equipment hands-on, including mechanical and autonomous machines.
• Develop expert product knowledge to advise customers.
• Work closely with key account managers and internal teams within your sector.
• Provide accurate forecasts (monthly, quarterly and annually).
