Job summary

Spilsby Surgery is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic to join our multidisciplinary clinical team in Spilsby. You will assess and manage patients with acute and ongoing health needs, making clinical decisions and providing treatment, advice and escalation within your scope of competence.

You will work autonomously while having access to the support and expertise of our GPs and wider clinical team when required.

Qualifications

• HCPC professional standards adherence
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making
• Effective communication within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients with acute or other health concerns and forming management plans.
• Taking clinical histories and performing examinations to guide treatment.
• Providing treatment, advice and escalation within scope of practice.
• Referring to GPs or other services when needed and undertaking home visits as required.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring patient safety.
