Job summary

NHS Jobs seeks a skilled Paramedic to provide advanced clinical assessment, treatment, and support across COCO PCN, combining home visits with practice-based clinics. You will work with GPs and the multidisciplinary team to deliver timely care, support urgent and routine needs, and reduce hospital admissions.

Essential HCPC registration and ALS qualification are required, with Level 7 or equivalent advanced clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Essential HCPC-registered Paramedic.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) qualification.
• Level 7 postgraduate qualification or equivalent advanced clinical experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up for patients in their homes and GP practices.
• Take medical histories, perform examinations and arrange investigations and treatment.
• Develop and review care plans and escalate or refer when appropriate.
• Recognise and respond to deteriorating or acutely unwell patients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure information governance compliance.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses, pharmacists and the multidisciplinary team.
