Job summary

IC24 seeks Urgent Primary Care Doctors to provide home-visiting urgent care across Sussex. You will assess, diagnose and treat patients in their homes, with support from dispatch and driving teams.

You'll travel to patients, prescribe as needed and ensure safe and timely care, guided by GMC standards. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary setting, collaborating with NHS 111, community nursing, pharmacy and primary care colleagues, while maintaining high clinical standards and patient-centred care

Qualifications

• Hold current GMC registration.
• Be an MRCGP Graduate.
• Have clinical experience in Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, A&E or Out of Hours.
• Experience of face-to-face clinical consultation.
• Experience of primary care home visiting.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence (automatic and manual).

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients needing urgent care with home visits.
• Make confident clinical decisions, assess risk and escalate when needed.
• Travel across Sussex visiting patients in their own homes.
• Collaborate with NHS 111, community nursing, pharmacy and primary care teams.
• Prescribe appropriately and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Adhere to GMC guidance and local clinical standards.
