Job summary

Rosemary Medical Centre, a family practice serving about 9,500 patients, is recruiting a part-time practice nurse for 30 hours per week with flexible hours. The role covers general practice nursing across the list, including long-term condition reviews, immunisations and women’s health.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration is required.
• Experience in a primary care environment.
• Experience of working autonomously.
• Infection prevention and control measures experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general practice nursing to the practice population.
• Provide long-term condition reviews and preventative care.
• Immunisations (routine, childhood, travel) and cervical cytology support.
• Venepuncture, ECGs, spirometry and minor procedure support.
• Promote health and self-care, and support patients with difficult conversations.
