Job summary

PHL Group is seeking a HCPC- and CSP-registered Physiotherapist to join the Offender Health service. This part-time role (14 hours per month) offers autonomous practice, where you will assess and plan treatment for patients with complex respiratory, MSK and neuro conditions within a prison setting.

You will manage a clinical caseload, contribute to service development, ensure governance and incident reporting, and work flexibly across locations as needed.

Qualifications

• HCPC and CSP registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Minimum of 2 years’ physiotherapist experience with rotations in respiratory, MSK, and Neuro.
• Experience in independent and lone working.
• Able to work flexibly in a prison clinical setting.
• Strong communication, time management, and organisation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a secure setting.
• Postgraduate qualification such as MSc.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload including offender health and private/staff patients.
• Develop and expand service opportunities within the team/service.
• Report KPIs and statistics to Senior Management.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies and governance.
• Liaise regularly with Senior Management and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Manage the delivery of physiotherapy services across multiple locations if required.
• Maintain and report on clinical incidents, complaints and compliments.
• Participate in monthly feedback and meetings with Senior Management.
