Job summary

PHL Group is seeking a Physiotherapist to work within the Offender Health setting. You will provide advanced assessment and treatment to patients with complex conditions, operating as an autonomous practitioner and shaping treatment plans while maintaining clinical records.

The role covers offender health and potential private/staff patients, with responsibilities across multiple locations if required. Flexible, pro-active communication and strong time management are essential in this prison

Qualifications

• HCPC and CSP registered Physiotherapist.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a Physiotherapist with exposure to rotational roles in respiratory, MSK, and Neuro.
• Experience in independent working and lone working.
• Energetic and proactive, with the ability to work flexibly within a prison clinical setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Desirable: Postgraduate qualification such as MSc.
• Desirable: Experience working in a secure setting.
• Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload, including offender health and potential private/staff patients.
• Develop and expand business opportunities within the service.
• Work within contract-specific KPIs and report statistics to Senior Management.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and clinical governance.
• Liaise regularly with Senior Management and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Manage the delivery of physiotherapy services across multiple locations, if required.
• Maintain and report on clinical incidents, complaints, and compliments.
• Participate in monthly feedback and meetings with Senior Management.
