Job summary

UHNM is seeking an Advanced Practitioner Obstetric Sonographer (Band 7) to join our Imaging – Obstetric Ultrasound team on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week). The post covers Royal Stoke University Hospital and Stafford County Hospital, with a six-day service and weekend rotation to ensure continuous patient access.

The role requires a CASE-accredited PgCert/PgDip in Obstetric/Gynaecological Ultrasound, HCPC/NMC registration, and the ability to independently scan and report a broad range of

Qualifications

• Independently scan and report obstetric ultrasound scans.
• Evidence of continuous CPD and NHS experience.
• Case accredited postgraduate ultrasound qualification with HCPC/NMC registration.
• Driving licence and access to own car for community locations.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously perform and report a range of obstetric ultrasound scans in line with National, Trust and department protocols.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the obstetric ultrasound service.
• Provide high-quality imaging across Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital sites, with outreach to community locations.
