UHNM Maternity Services supports approximately 6,500 births each year. The ultrasound service plays a key role in delivering routine antenatal screening in accordance with national screening programme standards and guidelines. In addition, our sonographers support a wide range of specialist services, including the Early Pregnancy Unit, Maternity Assessment Unit, and dedicated antenatal and gynaecology clinics, ensuring women receive timely access to high-quality diagnostic imaging throughout their care pathway.
