Chilcote Surgery is seeking an experienced Nurse Prescriber (Band 7) to join our visiting nurse team in Torquay. You will deliver autonomous, evidence-based care to care home residents and housebound patients within a supportive multidisciplinary setting.

The role involves assessment, diagnosis and prescribing, along with mentoring colleagues and contributing to service development. It uses an Agenda for Change framework with a Band 7 salary and permanent, full-time arrangements.

Qualificações

• NMC registered nurse with current UK registration.
• Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification and authority to prescribe.
• Experience delivering nursing care to community-based patients, including care homes.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior nurses and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake planned home visits to care home residents and housebound patients.
• Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnoses, and prescribing within scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient care and liaise with GPs and community services.
• Mentor and supervise nursing staff and contribute to service improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding, governance, and policy requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in audits and training.
