Market Cross Surgery is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work within the clinical team alongside GPs and nursing staff. The role focuses on autonomous assessment, diagnosis and treatment across acute and chronic conditions, including independent prescribing and disease management, immunisations and travel medicine.

The post requires a Masters in advanced practice or equivalent and independent nurse prescriber status, with experience in primary care and a range of clinics.

• Must hold a Masters degree in advanced clinical practice or a related high-level qualification.
• Independent Nurse Prescriber status is required or essential.
• Experience in primary care and chronic disease management is essential.
• Proven ability to lead wound care, immunisations, and travel clinics.
• Competence in pathology requests, testing, and result interpretation.

• Manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, providing specialist advice.
• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with independent prescribing responsibilities.
• Lead chronic disease clinics and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Provide wound care and vaccines including contraception and travel clinics.
