NHS Jobs in London is seeking a confident First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) to be the initial clinical contact for patients presenting with MSK conditions, delivering the primary assessment, diagnosis and management options for their concerns.

You will use advanced clinical reasoning to support complex musculoskeletal cases, order and interpret tests, carry your own caseload autonomously, and help integrate MSK pathways across primary care.

Qualifications

• Be able to work autonomously as a lone practitioner.
• Provide expert advice and act as source of expertise in MSK management.
• Develop integrated and tailored care programmes in partnership with patients.

Responsabilités

• Be the first point of clinical contact for patients with MSK conditions, providing initial assessment and management options.
• Independently request diagnostic tests (x-rays, MRI, ultrasound, blood tests) and interpret results to aid diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Carry your own caseload as an autonomous practitioner delivering direct clinical care for complex MSK conditions.
• Work in partnership with patients to promote participation in treatment programmes and self-management where appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of MSK pathways and service governance within primary care networks.
