Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to support a GP practice in Abertillery. The role offers flexible sessional work with a well-organised primary care environment and full support from an established multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely.
• Familiarity with EMIS / SystmOne / Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.
