Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work in a GP practice in Brighouse. The role offers flexible sessional work with support from a multidisciplinary team and a structure to make sessions efficient.

You will assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care and contribute to high-quality outcomes in a well-organised primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7 or postgraduate).
• Hold a V300 Independent Prescribing qualification.
• Recent experience in primary, urgent care or walk-in settings and DBS checked.

Responsibilities

• Run minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Conduct long-term condition reviews where required.
• Perform telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independently prescribe and conduct medication reviews.
• Order and interpret investigations and document clearly.
• Collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.
