Job summary

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Cirencester. You will autonomously assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate)
• V300 Independent Prescribing
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings
• Ability to work autonomously and safely
• Familiarity with common primary care systems (EMIS / SystmOne / Vision)
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews
• Ordering and interpreting investigations
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs
