Wigan and Leigh Hospice in the United Kingdom is seeking a Registered Nurse (Adult) to join our Hospice Nurse Specialist team. The role involves autonomous practice, managing a specialist caseload and delivering advanced holistic assessment, symptom management, prescribing and care planning.

The post is 37 hours per week, Monday to Sunday 8:30am–4:30pm, with a requirement to work 10 weekends per year and bank holidays as per rota.

Formación

• Experience in palliative care, oncology or managing complex long-term conditions desirable.
• Registered Nurse (Adult) with UK work eligibility.
• Willing to develop specialist skills in palliative care.

Responsabilidades

• Autonomous practitioner managing a specialist caseload.
• Provide advanced holistic assessment and symptom management.
• Care planning and prescribing where authorized.
• Support patients, carers and healthcare professionals, promoting quality of life.
