JDR Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a manufacturing site in Worsley. You will establish and lead the health and safety function, implementing policies and safe systems of work, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the site.

You will build a strong safety culture, conduct audits, investigations and risk assessments, and work closely with management to deliver practical improvements. The role offers autonomy and real impact.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent HSEQ qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and HSE requirements.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Ability to develop and implement health and safety policies and systems.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of health and safety across the manufacturing site.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and safe systems of work.
• Create risk assessments and safety documentation.
• Establish systems to manage workplace risks and maintain compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Work with Site Manager and teams to address safety concerns.
• Promote a positive safety culture.
• Monitor compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide practical health and safety guidance to staff.
