Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support central London construction projects, with autonomy to manage your own workload and clear opportunities for career progression.

You will provide practical safety guidance, conduct site inspections, and promote a proactive culture while collaborating with site teams and leadership to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate.
Previous experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction or related industry.
Ideally experience with a Tier 1 or established Tier 2 Main Contractor.

Responsibilities

Provide practical Health & Safety advice across multiple construction projects in Central London.
Work with Site Managers and Project Teams to promote a positive safety culture.
Conduct site inspections, audits and reviews to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and standards.
Build relationships with site teams to encourage near-miss reporting and continuous improvement.
Support implementation of Health & Safety initiatives and promote best practices.
Take ownership of projects while receiving leadership support.
