Job summary

The Crown in Minchinhampton is seeking a proactive Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations, champion quality food and mentor a hands-on team in a welcoming, community pub. You will help design daily specials, manage GP and labour, and work with the Head Chef to develop menus.

Qualifications

Experience leading and developing a kitchen team.
Passion for quality fresh food in a welcoming environment.
Hands-on leadership with strong communication.
Ability to manage kitchen staff rota, training and health & safety.

Responsibilities

Be responsible and able to manage the kitchen staff rota, training and all health and safety effectively at all times.
Design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials.
Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to maintain GP and labour.
Drive sales and growth through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams.
