Job summary

James Street Group Practice in North Cumbria is recruiting a salaried GP to deliver autonomous clinical care. You will conduct in-person and telephone consultations, perform clinical triage, and undertake duty doctor sessions with a team-based approach.

The role requires GMC registration, entry on the performers list, and completion of GP training with CCT, with CPD ongoing. A supportive primary care network environment is offered.

Qualifications

• MBChB degree and GP training with CCT.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage undifferentiated or undiagnosed problems with autonomous decisions.
• Deliver face-to-face and telephone consultations and clinical triage.
• Carry out home visits and review test results and correspondence.
• Prescribe, refer and arrange diagnostic tests and report results to patients.
• Provide full range of GMS and Enhanced Services.
• Mentor trainees and support nursing colleagues.
• Contribute to SOPs, service development and clinical audits.
