This salaried GP post sits at James Street Group Practice, part of North Cumbria Primary Care. The work centres on autonomous consultations, both face-to-face and by telephone, clinical triage, duty doctor sessions and home visits for a diverse patient list. The practice is a single-practice Primary Care Network with a wide multidisciplinary team, including advanced clinical practitioners, nurses and mental health practitioners, so GPs are supported rather than working alone. Applicants need full GMC registration, a place on the performers list and completed GP training with CCT.
