Job summary

Cornerways Medical Centre in Ringwood, England, invites a qualified General Practitioner to join as a salaried GP from April 2027. The post supports 4 to 6 sessions and works as an autonomous practitioner alongside 9 GP Partners to deliver high-quality care.

The role covers comprehensive primary care, including on-the-day triage, prescribing, home visits, and referrals under the GMS contract. It is a training practice with a large list and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with Full GMC registration.
• Occupational Health clearance.
• UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations for routine and urgent care.
• Conduct patient home visits as needed.
• Manage patient care, investigations, reviews and referrals.
• Issue and sign repeat prescriptions, adhering to guidelines.
• Administer and manage patient queries and test results promptly.
• Document consultation notes using SystmOne.
• Ensure safe, evidence-based care per disease management protocols and NICE guidelines.
• Independently prescribe medications within scope.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver holistic care and participate in MDTs.
• Contribute to professional development and governance processes.
