Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London seeks an experienced Clinical Endoscopist for independent diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopy. The role requires autonomous practice, JAG accreditation, and compliance with national quality indicators and NMC/JAG standards.

You will undertake endoscopy within a defined scope, contribute to governance, education and service development, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a progressive service.

Competenze

• Must hold relevant JAG accreditation and demonstrate current independent endoscopy practice.
• Achievement of national quality indicators and clinical judgement to manage patients safely.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice.

Mansioni

• Perform independent diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopy on sedated and non-sedated patients within defined scope.
• Contribute to referral validation, surveillance activity, governance, audit and service development.
• Support education and training of trainee endoscopists, nursing staff and junior medical colleagues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and participate in CPD in line with NMC and JAG standards.
