The Endoscopy Service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and highly competent Clinical Endoscopist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team. This is a substantive service delivery post requiring established autonomous practice rather than a developmental training opportunity. The successful candidate will undertake independent diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy on sedated and non-sedated patients within their defined scope of practice. They must demonstrate sound knowledge of GI pathology, endoscopic indications, recognition and management of significant findings and complications and appropriate escalation of clinical concerns. The role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, evidence-based practice, professional accountability and continuous professional development in accordance with NMC requirements, JAG standards and Trust policies.
