Job summary

Hollywood Bowl Group is seeking a highly autonomous General Manager to lead one of its busy centres in the UK. You will shape strategy, drive profit across bar, diner, amusements and bowling, and be responsible for budgets and KPIs. Expect strong development opportunities and a supportive, growth‑focused environment.

You will lead a team with energy, coach staff, ensure top-tier operations, and work in a fast-paced leisure setting that values inclusivity and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as a hands-on General Manager within leisure, hospitality, or retail.
• Experience managing a budget of at least £1m.
• Proven ability to optimise sales and performance of a business unit.
• Strong people leadership with coaching and development mindset.
• Empathetic, resilient and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Run one of Hollywood Bowl Group's busy centres and create a safe, fun environment for staff and customers.
• Drive financial and commercial performance across all revenue streams: bar, diner, amusements and bowling.
• Accountable for delivering budget and KPIs and for profit performance of the centre.
• Coach, motivate and inspire the team to deliver outstanding service and customer delight.
