Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment is seeking an experienced Functional Skills Tutor to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of Functional Skills qualifications. The role is centre-based (Middle Wallop) with flexibility to travel to other centres as needed.

You will deliver Functional Skills Maths & English up to Level 2 in a classroom, working closely with learners to drive progress and outcomes and making use of CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering Functional Skills Maths & English up to Level 2.
• Teaching qualification at Level 4 or above.
• Good IT and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Passion for people development.
• Full UK Driving license and use of own car.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery and assessment of English and Maths to individuals and groups.
• Deliver Functional Skills Maths & English up to Level 2 in a classroom environment and drive learner progress.
• Coordinate successful completion of Functional Skills qualifications.
