Job summary

Fire and Security Careers is seeking a Surveyor/Sales Engineer to become a Key Account Manager in the South East with commutable access to London. You will survey fire alarm sites to BS 5839 standards, quote accurately, and win work by building trusted relationships with facilities management teams.

Expect 2-3 days on-site surveying, 2-3 days at home or in an office for quotes and calls. Salary £45,000–£55,000 plus commissions, OTE £75,000–£80,000. FIA/BAFE training support available.

Qualifications

• Survey to Fire Alarm standards (BS5839) and advise clients on requirements.
• Experience surveying fire alarm sites and engaging with facilities management.
• Able to present solutions and quotes to win fire alarm work.

Responsibilities

• Survey sites to BS 5839 standards.
• Prepare quotes and close fire alarm work with clients.
• Build and manage key accounts in Facilities Management.
• Travel 2-3 days per week to client sites and 2-3 days remote/office for quotes and calls.
