Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Surveyor to join our National Accounts support team. You will conduct site surveys, design tailored fire and security solutions, and produce quotations and technical specifications.

You’ll manage your own diary and travel, build strong client relationships, and ensure designs comply with industry standards while supporting sales and operations to drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge across fire and/or electronic security systems.
• Good understanding of relevant fire and security industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate quotations, technical specifications, and supporting documentation.

• Working collaboratively with Sales, Operations, and Account Management teams to support business growth.
• Ensuring all designs and recommendations comply with relevant industry standards and legislation.

Are you an experienced Fire & Security professional looking for a role that offers genuine autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to work with some of the UK's largest organisations?, We're looking for a Fire & Security Surveyor to join our growing National Accounts support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering bespoke fire and security solutions for a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients, whilst enjoying the flexibility to manage your own diary and workload.

Working closely with key account teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, you'll be responsible for building strong customer relationships, understanding operational requirements, and designing tailored solutions that protect people, property, and assets.

This is more than just a surveying role. You'll become a trusted technical expert, supporting customers from initial consultation through to solution design and quotation, helping to shape projects that deliver real value.
