Job summary

Live Recruitment in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England, seeks an Event Production Business Development Manager to own the new business pipeline from the ground up, crafting a sales strategy and managing relationships with venues and touring clients.

This largely remote role requires you to travel nationally, handle inquiries from quotation to specification, and report weekly on activity and forecast, with 28 days holiday and a flexible salary depending on experience.

Qualifications

Proven BD or sales background in event production.
Strong understanding of lighting, AV, rigging or related disciplines.
Able to develop and manage a sales strategy with independence.

Responsibilities

Generate and manage a national new business pipeline for event production clients.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan with regular pipeline reporting.
Build and maintain relationships with venues, festivals, and touring clients.
Handle inquiries from quotation through to equipment or service specification.
Attend client sites and travel nationally to support key accounts.
Identify tender opportunities and contribute to submissions.
Collaborate with project management to maximise value from existing clients.
