Job summary

The Royal Surrey County Hospital Emergency Department is recruiting a Band 7 Emergency Care Practitioner (ENP/ECP/EPP) to join a dynamic team. You will deliver autonomous patient care, work to agreed protocols, and contribute to high-quality emergency care.

Applicants should have at least two years’ autonomous emergency nursing experience, strong clinical decision making, and excellent communication. Independent prescribing is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience working autonomously in an emergency environment.
• Independent Nurse Prescribing is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred assessment, examination, diagnosis, treatment, referral and discharge for patients with minor injuries and illnesses.
• Work within locally agreed protocols and Patient Group Directives in collaboration with the team.
