Job summary

Pulse Nursing in Frome is seeking a Band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) to join the ED team. You will triage, stabilise, and manage patients with various emergencies, working under an experienced consultant. DBS check and NMC registration are required.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and flexible shifts to fit your schedule, with access to consultant support and opportunities within a dynamic department.

Job Title: Emergency Nurse Practitioner
Banding: Band 7
Location: Frome, Somerset
Rate: £26 - £43 per hour

As an Emergency Nurse Practitioner, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team in Frome, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities

• Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
• Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
• Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
• Access to a dedicated consultant for support and advice.

Requirements

• Valid NMC registration.
